Flaxton Meadows eco-campsite is located in North Yorkshire's beautiful countryside renowned for its wildlife and scenery. Bordered by rolling farmland and the internationally important heathland and wildlife site, Strensall Common (Site of Special Scientific Interest), Flaxton Meadows is Adult Only and provides a peaceful retreat for those wishing to enjoy nature, yet within easy reach of a wide range of amenities.

Guests at Flaxton Meadows have a range of accommodation to choose from including: handcrafted luxury log cabins using our own experienced joiners; glamping pods; touring and motorhome pitches with natural screening and electric; and back to nature camping pitches.

Our exceptional facilities include a state-of-the-art washroom with hot water and underfloor heating, utilising natural resources generated onsite. We have a very popular "Champers for Campers" bar, which is a place to relax, meet friends and watch the native wildlife. Our eco credentials are reinforced with out low energy/water consumption laundrette, ensuring minimal damage is done to the environment.

We have a nature trail around the site with information boards for your enjoyment. Free Wi-Fi is available and guests will be able to download our bespoke campsite App, to access information and a range of services.

A pizza van is on site serving pizzas Tuesday - Sunday from 5:00 - 8:30pm
