|About Burnharbour Cottage|
We are a family owned, family run holiday-let in Robin Hood's Bay.
Burnharbour Cottage is an 18th century, grade 11 listed building which was originally a Fisherman's cottage.
It's been lovingly restored to make our Guest's stay as cosy and special as possible. The cottage is small but sleeps four people.
We are located in Lower Bay; 2 minutes walk to the beach & 1 minutes walk to Ye Dolphin Pub!
Our two bedroomed cottage has a porch for coats, full gas central heating, modern bathroom (with bath & shower), a kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven & slow cooker. There is a lounge area with TV/ DVD & Free WIFI.
The first floor bedroom is spacious with a double bed, hand-basin & TV. The second floor bedroom is panelled with two single beds.
Linen, fluffy towels, warm fleece throws, hot water bottles & hairdryers are included, plus you'll find beautiful cushions and throws. You will also receive a complimentary welcome pack comprising of local milk, Yorkshire Tea, Elizabeth Botham's plum bread and Jam.
We also have complimentary condiments and dairy free milk available. Fur babies are welcome, so there will be dog bowls, dog towels, dog-poop-bags & a few treats.
There is a selection of modern games for rainy days and books by local authors including Leo Walmsley in the lounge area.
The cottage has a small, enclosed outside seating area with solar lights & bird feeders, should you want to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening or morning coffee listening to the gulls!
Please be aware that the cottage is unsuitable for wheelchair access and access to the first and second floor could be difficult for those with mobility problems. Please note, this is a strictly non smoking property.
We will provide a parking permit for you to use during your stay. We are dog friendly as long as they are older, well behaved and toilet trained.
