About Akebar Park | |||
![]() We are an award-winning holiday park in Yorkshire, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. One of the best touring caravan parks the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, Akebar Park is the most exceptional family-friendly park. We're proud to have one of the best pubs in Wensleydale, "The Friars Head", onsite. Not only that, but our stunning holiday park also boasts a golf course and great park facilities, making it one of the best parks in North Yorkshire. There's room for everyone at Akebar Park, including well-behaved dogs. We have a huge range of Yorkshire holiday homes for sale, as well as offering some of the best touring park facilities Yorkshire has to offer. Akebar Park has a family friendly touring site, ideal for touring caravans and motorhomes, with plenty of space for children to enjoy and with outstanding views over the open countryside. Akebar Park has been run by the same family for over 50 years. The touring site is a great space for your family holiday, offering grass pitches with electric hook-up, along with a well- equipped children’s play area.
We are an award-winning park and have been awarded the David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award by the British Holiday & Home Parks Association. The award shows that as a park we have taken steps to manage our land as a haven for wildlife; reduce our use of energy and water; reduce, reuse and recycle the waste we produce and support our local community. We have also featured in the Top 100 Sites in recent years. All customers must report to reception on arrival, where we will be happy to check you in and let you know where your pitch is. Our wardens will be on hand to guide you and help you settle in. We welcome visitors, however they must report to reception on arrival, pay the appropriate fee and obtain a permit. Our guests always enjoy their stay here at one of the best holiday parks in Yorkshire! An ideal base for walking, cycling and fishing. Check out all the local things to do here. |
